Super Bowl Aims to be Super

Here are the top recent Super Bowl games, which without a doubt are also some of the most memorable games in Super Bowl history. Two years ago, the Pittsburgh Steelers pulled out an epic win against the Arizona Cardinals. The year before that, the New York Giants won the Super Bowl when they miraculously put an exclamation point on what was nearly a perfect season for the New England Patriots.

Earlier in the decade the New England Patriots won three Super Bowls – interestingly all by a margin of three points – including the David and Goliath match-up versus the St. Louis Rams, which in hindsight vaulted the Patriots into the upper echelon of the NFL. And after mentioned the Rams, they too won a close Super Bowl 11 years ago against the Tennessee Titans. That game ended when the Rams stopped the Titans at the one-yard line, with the play that is known throughout the NFL as “The Tackle.”

So with such great Super Bowls in recent years, the question is how to top them. Well, this year’s Super Bowl might just do that as the AFC puts forth the six-time Super Bowl champion Pittsburgh Steelers against the NFC’s Green Bay Packers. The Packers also have a rich history claiming 12 NFL titles, including three Super Bowl wins.

Two of the most storied teams in the NFL prepare for the biggest game of the year – Super Bowl XLV – and the odds are very close with the Green Bay Packers currently a 2 ½ point favourite at AllYouBet.
